Planning an EV trip shouldn't be complicated. Most planners require accounts, sync data to the cloud, or are overloaded with ads. Wattrix is different:
Strictly necessary cookies (for security/load balancing) are always on. We optionally use Google Analytics to understand site usage, but only if you click "Accept" on the banner. You can manage this anytime.
Your calculator inputs (battery size, trip distance, etc.) are stored in your browser's
localStorage. This means if you come back to the site on the same device, your settings are
remembered. We do not send this data to any server.
Because the logic runs in the browser, once the page is loaded, you can actually go offline and continue calculating! The app is designed to be lightweight and resilient.
